In the highly anticipated MotoStudent 2025 (International University Electric Motorcycle Competition), the team from Politecnico di Milano (Polimi) used an electric motorcycle meticulously crafted with Enpower battery cells. With their outstanding technical strength and excellent teamwork, they stood out among 80 participating teams from universities around the world, achieving the excellent result of "1st in overall technical ranking and 3rd in overall performance", winning widespread praise.

Competition Results Overview

In MS1 (Technical Reports and Projects), the team from Polimi ranked first overall with their solid professional knowledge and innovative design concepts, and won 2nd place for Best Design, 8th place for Best Innovation, and 1st place for Excellence Showcase. In MS2 (Dynamic Test and Race Weekend), the team's electric motorcycles demonstrated good performance in actual track testing, ranking 4th overall, 8th in braking test, and 6th in Gymkhana agile driving competition.

As the core power component of the electric motorcycles participating in this competition, the battery cells (Enpower 12Ah Swift) provide strong support for the high-performance of the vehicles. This battery cell boasts excellent energy density and stable output performance, ensuring outstanding performance of the electric motorcycle in key areas such as acceleration, range, and dynamic testing.

The team from Polimi fully utilized the advantages of Enpower battery cells, combined with advanced vehicle design and optimized control systems, to successfully create this high-performance electric motorcycle. With outstanding performance in "150-meter acceleration and top speed of 180.9 km/h" and "top speed of 230.3 km/h", they won first place in both the acceleration race and the top speed test!


MotoStudent Competition Overview

MotoStudent is an international engineering competition for university students worldwide, organized by the Motorcycle Engineering Foundation (MEF), and held every two years at the MotorLand circuit in Aragon, Spain. The competition aims to provide students with a practical engineering education and a platform for technological innovation by designing and building Moto3 motorcycle prototypes. Currently, university teams from 19 different countries are participating in this competition, and many top motorcycle manufacturers, such as Ducati, are also actively supporting it, using it as a platform to discover and cultivate future engineering talent.
